ohhh. I totally thought it was the same as the TS100 and you could use 6S battery packs to power it.
Hmm they say 24V max for the TS100 actually. Interesting.
My Pinecil V2 says 12-24V on it. Granted the power supply could have been bad and I guess I could test it, but the soldering iron shouldnât instantly die from that 
The reddit post has a comment thread from another user who was using a 20V supply and dove deep into how customer support refused to send him a new one. Not a good look.
