He is fine.
He knows what he is doing!!!

I’m fully aware of my addiction. @rafaelinmissouri is right. I tell myself they are different to stay somewhat sane. But they really are different. The really are…yeah they are

I’m a self aware hoarder or “collector” as @dskate puts it. I’m really banking on this build being my last and spend more time riding. Time will tell.

I wonder if we can get a Hoarder Badge made for the Forum…

My GF often accuses me of “hoarding” and my ESK8 “addiction”.

It is like this: If you spend $2,000 on the perfect set of golf clubs, and you play golf once a year and the golf clubs sit in your garage gathering dust - then you wasted $2,000.

However, if you take those same $2,000 set of golf clubs and play golf everyday and get lots and lots of USE out of them - then it is the best $2,000 you ever spent.

So “hoarding” and “USING” are two different things entirely. It all depends on USAGE.

Also, you should see how many pairs of shoes my GF has. She says all of her shoes are different and she has shoes for running, hiking, pumps, dress shoes, flats, etc - and all her shoes are for “different purposes”.

Well, the same is true with ESK8. I have boards I ride to the grocery store, and boards I ride to work, boards for cruising, boards for carving, and 18s boards for high speed rides in full gear. So all boards are not the same.

Spend your money on what you love - you deserve it.

It’s hording if you don’t need it, and/or you already have one, or something that accomplishes the same use case.

It’s using if you have what you need and no more.

“Hoarding” is such a negative word.

ESK8 brings me joy and happiness. And it is not just riding boards. There is joy in building boards, maintaining boards, updating boards, tinkering with boards, etc.

Have you ever watched “Jay Leno’s Garage”? What a hoarder that guy is. He really only needs one car to get around. Why does that guy even have a car show? All he does is talk about cars. Aren’t cars all the same? LOL!!

Can we see the Hoard dude?

I have learned to embrace and accept Hoarder and don’t think of it so negatively anymore…

I prefer calling myself a hoarder than a collector…

So who do we talk to about making this hoarder badge?

I had to become quite notorious to have a badge made for me…

I won’t share pictures of my “hoard”.

However, I will share pictures of my “collection” of finely crafted personal electric vehicles. LOL!!

@jamie can you point us in the right direction?

My whole idea around the FishBone was to take everything I loved about my proto and improve on it.

  • slightly wider stance
    -comfortably house 12s 8p
    -better concave
But most importantly heaps stronger with more layups and a carbon weave core

That griptape looks epic dude!

Yes! That’s exactly what it is, a refined and upgraded proto. My DSS60 felt super weak so I had two layers of carbon fiber added.
