[Order Placed] TBDD CNC STEEL Hangers

I’ll draw up the axles and get a price for those too. If its not too bad I can make them an optional extra

Completely understand the reasoning and black will probably look better but a part of me certainly wanted that bling haha.

Awesome work man. Thanks for getting this organized :raised_hands:

Ok got a price for axles. With this low of a quantity its looking like they’d have to be 50 AUD (~38USD) for a pair in 17-4PH heat treated stainless steel. Let me know if you guys are keen at all. If I get at least 3 people interested I’ll order them.

Any news on the hangers?

The company that was meant to do heat treatment before electroplating forgot to heat treat the hangars, so now they decided to heat treat the steel first and then machine them all again. I believe they have finished the machining by now and are waiting on electroplating. I would expect another 1-2 weeks for them to arrive here. Sorry about the wait

Offtopic, but I would love to see you finally create a vendor thread on here! I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to discuss the beautiful products you sell and share pictures / information

Hi all, I guess after being a long time lurker on this and the previous boards…I finally made an account…mostly for help! I was on a ride today and this happened…luckily at low speed…

[ Well an image was supposed to go here, but I guess as a noob account I’m not allowed. I guess just image a TBDD hanger, still on the board, but bent so far, that the it snapped at the heat sink area]

Had to walk to the subway to get back home, and then I hit the internets to see if this is a common problem…low and behold…it is…and I am very grateful the community has taken up the torch in fixing this…torqueboards support still hasn’t responded about another issue i had with another product. I’ve place a pre order today, I hope to sneak in if possible, but at the same time if i need to wait then I will wait…There’s not much else I can do.

Thanks just needed to vent I guess, and once again Hello!, you may not know me but some names here I recognize from back when I was learning everything around to build my first board on elofty motors(I think) look forward to more chats!

Welcome! Ideally you’d be here under better circumstances, but swings and roundabouts I guess

Yes I ordered some extra and still have 3 left.

I believe the hangars are shipping to me today! So I should be sending them out to those who ordered in around a week from now if customs doesn’t try anything funny.

1 Hangar left out of 15. Looks like I’ll also be getting 1 or 2 of the hangars that weren’t heat treated. Sorta curious how they would go…

Near as I can tell is going over one of those rumble strips for the blind while crossing the intersection sidewalk to sidewalk, and when it happened I was maybe going around 5-10km/h…thankfully

Also those trucks look awesome! That extra density should definitely help with bending or breaking!
