Out of curiosity - was there a time where they were more affordable?

Hummie and Torqueboard are about to hit the market with some awesome skate escs.
I have makerX v4 dual and due to divergence of design it has fw issues with the most recent fw (running in foc).
Neo duel is atleast a month away. Trampa won’t fit your budget, escape and focbox are awesome, but you can’t get them anymore. Flipsky hit and miss on quality.
As far as I’m aware – now! Because of v4 neoboxes coming out, people are selling them for 80€ used, which is hellofa deal. Just search in the esk8 parts market category on here to see what they go for.

hey guys i need your opinion
im currently running a dual 12s setup with 2 focboxes.
now as Enertion is out of business i want to ask which other VESC good alternatives are out there?
in case one focbox smokes out i need to replace them.
im only able to use 2 single vescs because of my board design.

Believe me, Dual mini foc plus will become one of the most cost-effective VESC.

Why are the connectors not on the same side of the pcb, and facing outside and not upwards as the ones on the Focbox for example?

We only mirrored the mini foc plus. So it don’t need to make too many changes.
