No worries at all man. This is our mistake, not yours. Normally our hub tolerances are pretty spot on to be honest. So I just need to research this a bit to find out why yours (and a few others on here) aren’t perfect. Appreciate your patience in the meantime.
I can’t remember but do the hubs have some batch specific imprints or something to see from when they are? Apart from time of purchase which might still not tell when they were produced if it sat the warehouse for a while.
Yup, haven’t checked all but when i assembled mine i was able to insert and remove it with my pinky on one or more
We don’t do serial numbers on hubs but we can work back from purchase dates when needed.

You’re too nice for this place Joel.
I certainly appreciate that
I’d love an ETA on a replacement if you could
Are direct drives / hub drives still a thing?
- eLofty doesn’t really exist
- BoundMotor / Eovan have QC issues - broken shafts
- TorqueBoards is… torqueboards… and crazy priced
- Still waiting on hummie
- Unlimited+Loaded hub wheels are $200 ea
- Meepo hub are $100 ea
- Backfire hub are $200 per truck
- Backfire AT hubs are $265 per truck (ranger x2)
- Backfire AT hubs, ranger X3 - $330
- Exway hubs are $200 per truck
- Revel dd are $250 per truck
Am I missing any? Any worth it?
I’d love to build a stealth short board for fun
revel kit
jaykay…$$$
mellow…oh wait
neohub…oh god ptsd
Seems not. Shame. I thought it was a valid form factor.
I feel like it would be much more doable for pnummies just because the extra size eases the thermal issues a bit. I feel like for 'thane there’s just not enough room to do it easily.
But then again the advantage of 'thane DD is that it uses already-available stator sizes so it seems like the cost to tool up and get into production would be a lot lower…
Sleeved hubs (as opposed to DD) have several really significant drawbacks, so I’m not super surprised about that.
My girlfriend has a revel kit. It’s actually fantastic for someone who doesn’t have any interest in DIY.
Real shame that they don’t sell the DD motors without the full kit.
I am still desperate to try the loaded hubs. They are the only ones I would invest in.
Damn… so pricey for 4wd. Don’t think i can make that mental math work
Definitely would rather do dd/hubs on pneumatics, but that’s the next step lol
Will bn hangars work on tb base plates
Thanks
Speaking of elofty.
I think they’re about to launch a pre built board.
Yes, if you mean the cast TB baseplates.
I don’t know about the precision ones.
Does anyone make angled brackets for channel trucks? Something like this but 30 degrees. Not looking for angled risers, but rather brackets to keep the deck low.
where can i buy 10mm risers for MBS trucks?
