Yeah I would be wary with this type of connector. Often they are fine up to 5A, but sometimes these are used as data cables, in which case they are not made for current lol. Just be careful

My main goal is to use silicon wire instead of what is normally used.

Aren’t they the standard barrel jack found on most wall warts? I’m sure you might have some lying around that wouldn’t be missed.
I have one, yes. The problem is they again have the shitty thin cables that are not replaceable.
I’ll be pumping 5A through them, pretty sure the cables start cooking.

Number one is a CNC Baseplate from Bioboards. 43°
This one does fit Riptide cups but I can’t seem to fit the hanger properly. Something seems off center. Maybe it can be fixed, depending on what the problem is. Unused
The Caliber 2 pivot hole is too small to fit riptide pivot cups. Off the shelf cups seem to fit but who wants squeaky trucks amirite? Well used baseplate. 44°
