I really like 641 medium strength retaining compound for stuff like pulleys and (loose) bearing seats - disassembles with a gear puller, hand press etc. and not a fUcKiNg tOrCh 
Holds real nice too.

I would be careful about 638, iirc its a bitch to disassemble

638 removes from aluminum at half the strength of steel.

It can be but a single drop on a smooth surface is not a lot
