Did you end up using the Verreal enclosure?
Would you do it again?
Considering to get it for a short board build.
I am using it but no I wouldn’t really recommend it.
Going to do a build thread about it but because there’s no flanged edge around it, you have to drill through your deck to mount it. I’m only going to use the 4 corner holes since it’s metal and the deck doesn’t flex at all.
Transferring and aligning was annoying but I found a good method.

On a cheap deck, I don’t mind drilling through.
The 8” is with good space for ESC, so you could fit a 12s2p with a small ESC?
Is the width enough for Two rows of 21700s?
I am considering to get this with a 1/2in neoprene strip and make it a DS.
That would give you a sturdy neat cheap 12s4p enclosure.

Nice! That was my original plan but I didn’t have any dog nose screws.
The enclosure battery area is a 14 x 20.5 cm footprint, 3 cm tall. If you were careful about where you put your nickel and wires, you could use the extra area between the enclosure bolt posts if that makes sense.
Honestly you could probably cut all of the pillars out except the corners and get a few extra cms
