when i turn it on, i start hearing some hissing and humming from my Direct Drive motors. you can hear it here in this vid: https://youtu.be/IvYb8xLkWQI
with my older Meepo ESC, i dont hear anything coming from the motors. had to change ESC because the Meepo ESC was stuck at 6mph. couldnt go any faster no matter what i did.
how can the Hobbywing ESC make my motors produce weird noises? did i get a defective ESC?

My backfire hobbywing makes a buzzing sound at idle through the motors. Its a good white noise machine to go to bed to.

the ESC works so far. BUT
1- does not report battery level to the remote
2- very nasty acceleration. feels like it wants to throw me off the board
