In case anyone is interested…
are they providing focer or the balance pro ?
Is it a same thing ?
The CheapFOCer2 0.9 is not the same as the CheapFOCer2 1.0 which is not the same as the BalancePro which is not the same as the LittleFOCer.
Out of those, the LittleFOCer is by far the best and also allows >12S batteries.
But does it have internal IMU ?
What makes the LittleFOCer so much better?
Yes, all of those have an internal IMU. I’m not listing ones that don’t.
Voltage rating is over 60V, which is important for balance vehicles specifically. 15S or higher is really what you want.
This being said, it’s not hard to add an IMU for a couple dollars, but it takes up a UART port, which typically there’s only one of.
thanks man so can I get its Gerber file or I have to buy one ?
how much does cheapFOCer2 0.9 is able to handle ? ( Like 13s2p )
What is the biggest battery I can build without cooking anything and suggest a bms.
I believe the CFOC2 is safe up to 12s (and any p you’d like).
cool thanks man
Wondering if the website still active, and the stock is update.
I was told by Tony that the Balance Pro is out of stock.
New ones will be made near the end of the month since the DRV chips are hard to come by.
After the DRV chips are in it will take 15 days for a batch to be completed.
Not sure how big those batches are though.
Looking forward to more communication next year
If anyone needs someone to test out a hub motor prototype lmk
I do already have the transverse flux one to mess around with tho
Hi all,
Im looking at buying this kit into NZ. Getting the Pint bumpers into NZ looks a little difficult. has anyone successfully found files to print these? Also wondering if anyone has done a 12s2p battery in one of these?
Thanks! Mike.
Yeah, you can find stl files and some ex of 18650 and 21700 12s2p packs on the discord channel.
There is also a redesigned set of bumpers and boxes available for printing that make the build much nicer.
