Just as a heads up - Ping (ICMP) is not a good barometer for “up status”
Curl, Test-NetConnection, PsPing are ideal for sending TCP Packets, though I see that the site is replying on ICMP at this point.

shopify doesn’t 404 your website for non-payment. They pop up an admin screen.
Also a github account deletion is a very deliberate 2-3 step process.
I think Mr Wu has left the building.
