Wondering if anyone knows if I am doing this right, purchased some tb6374s from a forum member, but the sensor wires are cut, I am trying to fix them, does this look correct? My sensor cables have an orange wire and the motor has a blue wire these two colors are the only ones that dont match
Dont go by the wire colors on the connector in your hand. they mean nothing.
the wires on the motor are usually:
white = temp
red = 5v
black = ground
the other 3 are sensor wires and their order doesn’t matter.
you need to match that to the vesc pins. usually it is red,white, 3 sensor wires, black
Here ya go. From torqueboards site directly
Thank you guys!
BE CAREFUL!! if I look at your pic of sensor connector, it is not in the right order
Yeah I saw that, I’m gonna have to move around d those pins
dude…you dont have to do anything on the connector. I assume you are soldering the wires. just connect the right wires from the motor side and be colour bind to the connector wire color and it should be fine.
My ocd would cause me to crash thinking of mismatched wires
looks good. have you tried it yet?
Not yet, but I will probbaly be swapping my 6355s for these 6374s sometime today
