TRADE OFFER! High-Performance E-Skate Components for Your Build!
Country: US
Location: Oregon, USA
I’m looking to trade a collection of quality electric skateboard parts for essential components to complete a new build. My loss is your gain on these excellent pieces!

  • Anzo A1 Pro Deck, Controller, Battery Enclosure, and Battery (with known issue): This setup comes with the deck, controller, and battery enclosure. Please note: The included Anzo A1 Pro battery has a known issue. It likely needs repair or replacement to function optimally. This is a complete, ready-to-roll setup minus the motors, but the battery needs replaced/ attention and remote.

  • Anzo A1 Pro 1000W Hub Motors & AT Wheels: The powerful 1000W hub motors that came with the Anzo A1 Pro, complete with their all-terrain wheels. These motors offer strong performance and the AT wheels provide excellent grip and shock absorption for varied terrain.

  • Backfire Zealot S Remote & ESC: Known for their smooth and reliable performance, the Backfire Zealot S remote and ESC are a fantastic combo for any electric skateboard. This ESC is specifically tuned for Backfire boards, offering excellent control and power delivery.

  • Chargiot Bomb ESC: A powerful ESC capable of handling significant power, the Chargiot Bomb ESC offers robust performance and features like regenerative braking. It’s a great option for those looking for a strong, reliable electronic speed controller.

  • Chargiot Bomb Motors: Powerful motors for your build.

  • (Kahuna Creations Dropdeck: Also available for trade! This dropdeck from Kahuna Creations would make a fantastic platform for a DIY electric skateboard build due to its low center of gravity and stable design. It’s a comfortable and sturdy deck for cruising or performance.

What I’m Looking For:

  • 2 x 1000W Hub Motors: Seeking two reliable 1000W hub motors for a new project. Condition is important, but minor cosmetic wear is acceptable.
  • 1 x 42V 4 Amp Charger: A safe and efficient 42V 4A charger is crucial for my battery setup. Must have standard safety features (overvoltage, overcurrent protection, etc.).
  • 1 x Decent Remote: Looking for a reliable and comfortable electric skateboard remote with good connectivity. Features like a display and multiple speed modes are a plus.

I am also open to trading for a complete electric skateboard setup that is equivalent in value and in good working order, or a direct drive kit that would allow me to finish my build. Let me know what you have!
Shipping:
I am prepared to supply shipping quotes upon request. Please provide your full address for an accurate quote.
Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire some great e-skate components for your next build! Message me with your trade offers and photos of your items, or if you’re interested in the cash option. Let’s make a deal!

You’re selling 2 x 1000W hub motors… but also are looking for 2 x 1000 W hub motors?

Or am I misunderstanding?

I saw that Anzo skateboard on Ebay last year for 84$.

Was a scam, and I got my money back. They claimed it was delivered at front door, even had authentic looking USPS tracking saying so.

I was interested in the hub motors, as I like quiet.

I kind of covet the Backfire Ranger hub motors.
Replaceable sleeves a must.

Creating a trade post to complete an electric skateboard project involves clear communication, strategic presentation, and accurate detailing of your needs and offers. Whether you’re using a forum, social media group, or an online marketplace, a well-crafted post can significantly improve your chances of connecting with the right person.

Start by crafting a descriptive and honest title. Include key terms like “electric skateboard build,” “trade,” and the specific parts you need or are offering. For example: “Trade: ESC or Battery Needed to Finish Electric Skateboard – Will Trade Motors or Trucks.”

In the body of the post, begin with a brief summary of your project. Mention that you are in the process of building an electric skateboard, and clearly list the parts you already have. Then, specify exactly what you need to complete the build (e.g., ESC, BMS, battery, remote). Include technical specifications like voltage, size, connector type, or compatibility requirements. Be honest and realistic about the condition and value of what you’re trading.

Photos are essential. Include clear, well-lit images of the parts you’re offering, and, if possible, your build-in-progress. This adds credibility and generates interest.

Next, state your preferred method of communication and transaction (e.g., shipping only, local meetup). Be sure to include your location if relevant. Add any safety or trust-building steps you’re willing to take, like using a verified trade platform or providing references.

Finally, use polite and respectful language. Show that you’re a genuine community member, not just someone looking to make a quick deal.

A well-written, honest, and organized trade post increases your chances of successfully acquiring the final components you need to complete your electric skateboard build.

I’m laughing and crying. LLMs make it so easy to generate BS that other cost other people to read.

paradoxically you don’t have to do all the work yourself to make it better.

You’re not going to get serious responses with a thread like this, re-write it yourself without all the buzzword chat GPT bullshit and you’ll have better luck.
