@kook do you think wrong firmware would cause this issue?
u got a bluetooth device? does it connect to ur phone? vesc tool to be exact of what im talking about
Esc has its bluetooth module 4.0 but it doesn’t work besides flashing red light.

Is Windows running in a virtual machine, or natively?
I doubt it… except if you’ve loaded a FW version incompatible with your hardware…

do you have any other devices you can plug into the 'puter USB and get the bing-bong?
use that cable…
and all this is monkey biz, but sometimes it works…
leave the board powered, with USB active in both puter and board and reboot the puter… sometimes that fixerates it…

I could connect easily on that damned BoxOfFoc that I inadvertently loaded FW for HW48…

my adventure into HFI on a perfectly working sk8board surely cured me of this error…
I’ve owned my Kaly for 10 months and never ever thought about updating firmware, or remote (i have a puck receiver awaiting the moment I finally need to open the enclosure…)
