Press your windows key, type device manager and look for usb devices something something (should be pretty much on top but donât quote me on that)
open that tab and look how many comm ports are listed and remember the numbers. Unplug the vesc and check if one number disappeared
(i remember seeing a guide for that, iâll look for it)
No COM3 is especially weird.

Did the Mac one work? If itâs saying need permission or something you do like control click or option click, I canât remember

Used a different cord that allowed me to plug it in more. Now we are getting somewhere

I used the cord that I thought would be a less chance since the plastic on the piece is large which I figured wouldnât allow me to plug it in fully lol but guess we are doing the opposite today
