Need help finishing up a project.

Hello, to whom it may concern. I’ve almost finished building a DIY build with the following specs

-two flipsky 6374 motors

  • a go foc DV6s vesc
  • a 10s11p homemade battery with a BMS that can output a constant of 50 amps

I haven’t ever programmed a vesc before so internet pls help. What version of vesc tool do I use (I’m on Mac if that matters) and how do I go about programming it? What are some of the hidden features that I need to know about, if any,. And generally how do I go about it?

I know there are videos out there on programming but having it be specific to my stuff would nice

Highly recommend bypassing your bms, for safety, if you haven’t already. There’s a lot of great threads on here about why, and 50A isn’t going to be anywhere near enough for 6374 motors

Mboards has some great vesc walkthroughs on their YouTube channel. I recommend starting there.

We’re people too
Always great to try to find resources yourself before asking others to do it for you. If nothing else, it’ll give you information to ask more specific and informed questions
