I need help from you!
I know that it is not really an eskate topic, but maybe somebody can help.
I am searching for a high efficiency BLDC motor with a maximum power of 1000W. Manifacturers/ideas/any help.
The motor will be for a gokart sized car that should be as efficient as possible! (Wheels diameter: 550mm) That’s why I’m asking you guys!
Thank you really much for any help!!!
Have a nice day!

I don’t want to use hub motor and it has not gokart wheels just the size of the car is like a gokart. It has motor cycle wheels. (R16)
Maximum 40-45 km/h.
I’d figure out all your gearing first to determine what the rpm at the motor shaft needs to be. Then shop for motors in that optimal KV range. If range is #1, the “smallest” motor you can get away with is going to most likely be best. The 6374’s have been good to me, but something in the 55xx range might push it.
Where’s that power limit coming from? From your battery? from legal requirements?
If it’s acceptable for you to just limit the power to 700W through software, you’d get a much wider range of options, allowing for bigger motors that may have better characteristics for your application.
You’d need to be a bit more specific about your requirements. And maybe define “high efficiency”.
In any cases, you can play extensively with the ESK8 CALC up there in the menu bar, and you’ll get rough ideas about what you need.
Especially there is that power limit, because I’d like to get the best range possible!
400W-1000W would be great as power of the motor. Max. rpm: 1300-1600
Min.: 350 rpm…
The max. rpm will be 1300-1600 and the min. 350…
The best and the number 1 will be the range, but I have a bigger sized wheel as eskates have… The wheel diameter is 558mm…
