My Esk8s. A journal of sorts

So I really meant to add my everyday tinkering on here and random projects and upgrades but I have been slacking.

So let me go back in time a bit and fill in the blanks.

First up.

The Bamstoke.
This used to just have the evolve Bamboo GT drive. But it was heavy and I hate the control so I wanted to use an actual Esc on here.

Sooo I ended up buying a bunch of parts.

When in doubt buy more parts…

One of the parts I wanted was another Omakase but instead of dropping the cash I decided to cut up my Muirderer deck. Worked out pretty well.

I painted the bottom with truck bed liner because I love that stuff.
For the enclosure I cut up a psychotiller Evo enclosure and painted it as well.

The parts I bought specifically for this were:
Blue Caguamas.
Flipsky 6354 motors.
Flipsky 4.20 dual plus.

I had some evolve 63 motor mounts but they hit the tail when turning so I put the 6354 on the regular evolve mounts with 4 bolts on the middle slots. Thanks to Kamijuins for that tip.

The battery I put in here is the 10s4p pack I got back on the day from Damon for my Evolve which later on Dave put in a BMS for me. So it has been part of a lot of boards.

I like the look of how the board turned out.

I think my wheel base is a little bit longer than the actual Stoke. 1.5 to 2 inches.
And I am assuming mine is a quite a bit heavier with the larger battery.

So I don’t think mine is quite as “dynamic” as the evolve version and I’m not going to jump off curbs or do grinds at the skatepark.

But it is fun to carve around on in the neighborhood.
I brought a renewed purpose to the dual kingpin trucks.
They are kind of interesting top mounted on this shorter deck.
