I managed to stripped the mounting holes on my motor 
Any pointers on what the best way to remedy?
Does running with just 3 mounting screw sound like a good idea??
you can use thread inserts like “helicoil” or a similiar cheaper product also does the job. 3 screws work for a little while but why not use all 4 again. Just pay attention not to damage the rotor 
the stuff I use is called V-COIL

Should be ok
3Dservisas og drives used to use 3 motor bolts and Even the new ones have a pretty similar design
