Tomiboi Toe Clips on custom 3D-printed adapting mounts
Not entirely done yet: some few screws short and a FAT ton of fine-tuning to do tonight at Long Beach intro, but well on track to be ready to send it at Sonoma!
Massive thanks to everybody involved:
@Titoxd1000: trucks are second to none, and on top of that, for all our in-person chats and intro sesh with test-riding your demo boards (also not for putting up with the constant pestering of noobish questions / more or less testing patiences )
@gtonthat: for letting me steal the dadbod + Radium motors for this build
@andyzhang: for the spur gears from the trade
@HAIRYMANJACK: for loaning the Supernovas, Hubbas, and LPs for the race! Also for offering to help at intro with fine-tuning
@Dinnye: for staying up late on the other side of the globe to reteach me everything to do with trucks and bushings so that I can find the best place to start on my current setup (spoiler alert: first try of bushing choices per your suggestions and HOLY-)
Will proceed with any in-depth threads or footage regarding the various steps undertaken going into this build after this Saturday’s race. Until then, here’s to not dying at Intro tonight
Slightly different setup I’m running 300mm Tito’s and poast gears which aren’t available anymore or as of this moment running radium reacher 6384 which is more then enough and d100s running 160amps per motor and novas 7 for the mean nyc streets top speed I’ve hit on this setup was 48mph downhill here in nyc love this setup
I’ve been running this setup since April/may been really enjoying the setup I been meaning to do a write up but I’m too lazy to write it up ahh the struggle lol
Yep, PLA+ ftw. Didn’t let up on me all night and that’s before upping to PETG I got on standby. Though I might as well go PETG anyways cuz next print iterations will fine-adjust toe clip placement to better cup my foot and avoid stabbing up into my ankle
