My cells came. I put the fish paper rings on it. That was tedious. It turns out that I can actually fit more cells so I went from 8p to 9p.
I ordered my BMS and it came in the mail but it’s too big so I ordered a new one. Now I have a BMS for sale. I’m going to post the link here in case someone wants to buy it from me. I bought it for $170. I’m selling it for $130. I’m in NYC.
Here’s some pictures that I currently have.
99% of builders bypass the BMS for discharge, so an expensive 250a BMS is not needed.
A 20a BMS will do the job great for a DIY Esk8, and be small/inexpensive.
What kind of board are you building here? 20s9p is a gigantic battery.

You should start a single thread to document your build in
I do it like this because sometimes, some knowledgeable master points out the mistakes on my build as I’m building it and I fix it. Thank you for them.
I am going to make a single master thread after all is said and done and I’ll most likely delete these update threads. Or I might just keep it to look back on in the future and for other people too.
