Could you share your opinion about a certain deck design… Main wooden (or CF, FB) body in the middle + metal truck mount plates in front and at the back.
This design will allow rider to change his boards drop level, truck mount angles etc. by changing the metal mounts…
More parts means more expensive, and with a lot of those brackets you either end up sacrificing your turning radius (too long of a wheelbase), or end up with too short of deck to put your feet on comfortably.
my weight is 82kg, because the lack of a workshop i bent it by repeatedly jumping on it full force while it was secured in place
then i cut it to length desired and attached it with 6 screws to the board
obviously i never jumped full force on my board and on a sidenote it also was absorbing quite a lot of vibrations during ride without ever bending further at all
I am not a fan. The reason is because the faster you go the more “on top of the trucks” you want to be. That’s not a possibility with G|Bomb type setups. When compared to a standard drop deck, I guess its comparable, but you can get closer to being on top of the trucks because of the single piece curve. I like the look, I’m not crazy about the practice.
