Mental health - please take care of it

It is Covid.
Got him home about 7 hours ago.

Why is is so hard to get Seniors to drink enough fluids?
It’s like a perpetual state of dehydration is somehow desirable.

Because we have to get up in the middle of the night 10 times to pee

God give me strength!
I’m on the 3rd day of a new job, I’m killing it.
In traffic a new coworker did something cowards do, be rude safe in his car.

I’ll let you guys guess who drives what. The thing is tough people don’t need nuts on their bumper. I’m going to explain that as sanely as I know how. But I know if I don’t address it now I will stew over it and then I’ll end up losing my fucking mind over something small later. Wish me luck.

1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon Ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder

Mix well in in a hot cup of water and add local honey if you like . I do this 2 or 3 times a week . Its worked great for me .

I like to flip the mental script on truck nuts: they are gender affirming vehicle modifications. Ive yet to have the argument with anyone to establish my pro truck nuts and generally pro self care and pro gender affirming care and actions with anyone hostile to pronouns yet… but ive built up the ammunition for the argument and i think ive got a good foundation to hit them with a little comedy and perspective which i think is the best way to get a bug in the ear of Fox News indoctrinated folks

I feel very mature! I just said you owe me an apology and we can leave it there. Just don’t ever do that again. He apologized and I’m trying to forgive

That’s actually fucking baller dude! Dude gets major credit imho for that. Changing tack and apologizing is something i strive to be better at. It’s hard to be wrong and admit it

Besides if you are going to be crude and crass in public. Low density plastic is not the way to go, I’d want tungsten, but I’d never want nuts on my bumper

Well he rolled coal on me , and you could tell I was :rage:, I can’t hide it, I’m lucky I didn’t get emotional and loose my words, but I was relieved, I was prepared for it to go south

I belong to a bicycling group (yes, those things you push down on pedals to make them go) and on one stretch we get coal rolled often.

Not much you can do about it, but I’d dearly love to invite the bicycle police (like police on bicycles) to join us on those rides. But then again when you’re in a world where literally everyone else can kill you instantly you have to take a different tact.

This is probably why he apologized! Not cause im scary :scream:, im operating a 325 cat excavator

I’m standing with my head out the sky light so I can see into the pit he’s working in, I’m lowering 9 ton bags of filter meda to him, it’s probably best if I’m not mad at him. I’m operating with 2 fingers because I’m not tall enough

The smile on my face when he turned into the plant I’m building was not something I’d be proud of.
This is my second Prius, the first was in 07. , baby blue ( I’m inside the car who cares)to say That car caused some drama at work an understatement! They attract negative attention I loved getting out of in in the parking lot, them expecting a snow flake :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:boy howdy that was fun, consequences baby. Be nice or :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:no time for rude people
Pit

Also it took them 3 days to hand dig the last pit, I did mine in 4 hours and they had 45 minutes of hand work. I’m there to do all the work if I can, but I need to concentrate to be safe and productive

This, there is no shame in being wrong it happens to everyone, the measure of a man is saying I was wrong, you were right, and not being bothered by it

If you have any issues, you need the license plate, but you also need to get an image of the driver.
I’m a cyclist , but I have mixed emotions. Road cyclists here will ride 4 wide, going 5 mph up a one lane hill with 20 cars behind them. Personally I’m going to share the road if you are faster than my esk8 , then I’ll help you pass me.
Even if I literally built the road or freeway we are on , it’s not mine. I don’t want to ruin your experience and I don’t want mine ruined either.

Insisting on your rights over physics and common sense is dangerously foolish.

When I rode a motorcycle every single day for 20 years people would say how dangerous it is, but fencing with cars wearing spandex and a foam helmet isn’t dangerous? Tread lightly, some people are not safe to fool with. Everyone take care and be nice

With a tear in my eye, I’ll remember “sky king” who, after only flight simulator games and asking the pilots questions, pulled a barrel roll before signing off.

My experience with suicide is people that survive an attempt at some point are always happy to be alive, I am
