Looks great man! Helping a new friend upgrade his boosted in a similar fashion. How do you like the Dkp trucks compared to what the meepo had before?

putting grip tape against your car paint, brave man

It’s probably resting on the wheel, plus it’s probably not his car considering he’s a younger member of the forum

How has the flex changed on the board? With DKP im sometimes a bit worried that the longer wheelbase increases the load on the deck.

I doubt the wheel extends beyond the body

Resting on a parent’s car is even worse

I love them since they turn so well. Be careful at high speeds though!

The deck flexes much better now! It’s a very stiff deck originally.

You maybe have to be carefully that it does not flex to much. The deck designed for rkp trucks and now you out extra stress on it.

Are you able to charge both batteries through the charge port connected to the original BMS?

It is possible and I have to admit, I have done it. But it is not recommended. It’s good practice to charge them separately or make another wire harness to connect the JST charge ports in parallel. I am actually selling both of my batteries. One is sold, and the other with the top-mount case, strap, wire harness, and the battery is for sale. LMK if you’d be interested! Pic below…

Oh yeah, is it the ER battery?

No, standard battery.

Also what is the JST port? Are you saying to just have 1 battery connected to the BMS/charge port and the other just to the charge port in parallel?

First of all, there is no BMS in the charge port. The BMS is inside the battery. To charge through the BMS, you need to charge through the little red plug (JST connector).

I only made a parallel harness for the output, not the charge.

Ah I understand, thank you! So if I use a JST splitter and connect both batteries to it, would it charge both batteries?

Also should I connect it directly to the port, or to the battery screen board like how it is standard.
?

Yes, exactly!!
