I can’t even take your boards full throttle

Most boards here we build are capable of more than the rider can handle. So you would one of the like 5 people on here that can any board full power around that course.

if theres a good community there they can probably all go there one day and to time trials and post a video about it.

So the normies know the monsters we ride compared to the budget boards :stuck_out_tongue:

Man i’m on the fence.

I want something new
I would pay its price
But I don’t want to wait 2 months for it
Or pay 400 bucks extra for faster shipping.

I still prefer the Zeus but wish it had the hurricane battery.

I’m deciding on the Zeus or Hurricane but not sure if Ownboard will have a sale soon. Might be able to save some more. I also like the Zeus as it’s just more lighter and shorter (by how much I do not know) and if someone wants to chime in, that would be great!

What are you looking for in the board, and how fast do you ride?

portability since I have a small hatchback car. I do have a Meepo Mini 2 but the comfort level is not there. I ride fast with my DIY board at times going to 30mph. I just don’t want to buy a Hurricane if it’s TOO BIG and long which is not necessary for my usage. I can’t really find a real size comparison for the two but the Meepo is CHEAPER in price and should have better performance. I’m still swinging towards the ZEUS at the moment.

From my experience the Zeus is light and sufficiently powerful, and if you wanna ride above 30 that’s easily possible on the Zeus and not possible on the hurricane because of the trucks.

Yeah I really like the range of the Zeus and it’s a 13S so the higher voltage makes up for the less amps the 50E batteries can put out compared to the Molicels’.

No

Zeus: 13s X 3.6v X 4p X 10a = 1872w
Hurricane: 12s X 3.6v X 4p X 30a = 5184w

Also, no reason to believe those are 50E’s, they list it at 19.2Ah or 4800mAh a cell.

Every comparison between these two cells I’ve seen are assuming they’re going to be used as if they were in a USB battery bank

What we demand from our boards far exceeds what the cell manufacturer intends. Every number a manufacturer gives the cell is for its most ideal use case. Which is never esk8

Does anyone know what size bearings are used in the pulleys for the street and all terrain boards?

pretty sure ownboard mentioned they’re panasonic cells, which likely makes them Panasonic NCR21700T, aka tesla model 3 cells.

Ahhh thanks for the clarification. The Hurricane’s pack is truly remarkable to say the least. The bottleneck is still gonna be the ESC I think only limits to 70A? Enough for most but there’s so much more you can squeeze out!

35A per motor side, battery side has to be even lower.

im curious as what’s the max sustain their discharge bms can do tho
