I have a wowgo that I striped the screws when trying to swap out the wheels so it has been out of commission. I just bought a Meepo mini with no remote or charger. I want to make sure it will work before buying the correct charger as it is fully charged atm. Someone on Reddit said this was possible and to take the button and esc out of the wowgo and put it in the Meepo. Then I can use my old remote.
Couple questions: How do I take it out of the wowgo without hurting the esc? (It is glued on to the case)

They’re wrong on the button part and on the remote. Best to use the button that came with the esc. If they are both Lingyi ESCs there is a chance that the remote will pair, but it will have issues. So while usable it won’t be free of head aches.
Look up alternative replacement remotes for the Meepo esc you have if you want to save like $40 and don’t mind a smaller screen. I’m sure someone else broke their remote and found the OG remote for the version of ling yi esc that you have. (meepo has them make a slightly modified version of their og remotes but the og remotes can still be used for some of them)
Easier solution is to go to a local hardware or auto parts store and buy a screw extractor so you can just use the wowgo again
