MBS Rockstar II Pro XL - Hota Tire Balance

Hey Folks,

Got something that rattling my brain. Trying to balance out some tires for the MBS Rockstar II Pro XL and I think there may be an issue? Not sure so I’m keen to get feedback from others.

The rims are perfectly straight although the tire is out, and it’s happening where the valve comes out, also I noticed that the valve hole is not centered in the rim.

My theory is that as the tube valve is out of center it’s causing the tire to egg or distort.

UPDATE - Appears to be a tire issue with HOTA. I have a set of Clever that run true.

I have 2 of these hota that were impossible to balance.

Seemed to be off horizontally not vertically… still rode like shit and were unusable. Of the 4 i bought 2 were great, 2 failed. Completely

Have you tried the CST 200x50?

Muy bueno.

Yep.
Only have one set running on my Flux.

But they were pretty much perfect from day one.

I am also running their 190x50 on my Llama Link and they ran true and smooth out of the gate.
