Mbs f5 binding setup help

I’ve got these mbs f5 bindings. I’m looking to add a front binding to one of my boards. Looking for advice on the proper setup for the brackets and the shoe cover direction. Does the hole on the binding go to the top or bottom? I’m guessing the brackets go with the little hole to the back for the heel strap?

The big ratchet goes towards the front/back of your board. The small ladder clip goes towards the center.

this is the correct orientation for the straps. the left one goes on the left foot and right on the right foot.
