I think the Haero guy deserves a little shit as there is a post on here where he said anything other than 1.5 would ruin the inserts 
I wasted a bunch of time going to different hardware stores looking for the 1.5 pitch and ended up buying a bolt cutter and just cutting the ones that came with my mbs bindings. Really like the deck though so it’s all good. Good job on the build!

I saw the same thread while trying to figure it out, and even had a chat with Lee Wright since then. Seems he was definitely confused on that one.
Speaking of Lee Wright - Apex footpads have been ordered for this beasty now, mostly so I can tidy the wires up a bit.
