MBS 200 70 tires

Has anyone tried to fit the new wide mbs off road 200 70 tires on wide Xcell wheels, I would like to do it on my lacroix but I don’t have the funds to put into it if it won’t work.

Please let me know or post pics if anyone has done this:skateboard::battery::rocket::double_exclamation_mark:

Shouldn’t work since the Xcell rims are 3.75in inner diameter, the MBS 200x70 use 4in inner diameter.

Thank you that’s what I thought but I have seen people stretch tires and also squeeze tires so I was curious if anyone had tried

It can work if you have a 3d print lip for the 3.75in rims. Or else the tire won’t seat properly and might cause issue.

I’m not at all versed in printing how would I do that and what things would I need, or is there someone who would could sell me that lip?

Aside from a printer, you would need a CAD program (you can get a free hobbyist license for some like fusion 360 or onshape) and a set of calipers for accurate measurements (cheap ones are fine).

Up to you whether that’s worth it. There is one esk8 hub I know of that can fit 4in rims, the trampa phatladz.

MBS XL hubs also fit 4” tires fine as well.

Naw, someone already made a file for that tire. Granted he designed it for Hubba hub but I don’t see how you couldn’t use it interchangeably as long as the inner width is wide enough.

You can ask a friend to print it for you. If not any 3d print service should do just fine.

Totally forgot, if you’re still looking for an offroad tire similar to the Explorer. I have a set of Linnpower off road tires if you’re interested, they’re meant to fit 3.75in hubs like the Xcell ones. But you’ll prob need widener for the hubs. They need like 60mm inner width or more.

Sorry for late reply, I ordered the Acedeck ones. Thank you though for the offer:+1::skateboard::battery::rocket:
