Goddamn those CGB brackets are gonna carve so nicely.

You’ve been really inspiring me to get my own LDP brackets.

I would have thought that you’d want to minimise the weight at the front to make it easier to pump back and forth, less inertia.

I do highly recommend the cgb componenets, lightweight, nice to use and very clean looking on set ups

For ldp, harder wheels at the front is more ideal. I kinda like the feeling of a front wheel hub drive actually, gives more grip in turns.

Doesn’t really matter on belt drive since you get full urethane, but for hubs, the urethane is thinner so I felt it’ll grip less on the rear. Plus the torsion tail would require to be modded since the axle rotates and the hub wouldn’t be able to accelerate

Would this friend happen to have more?

Hub motor group buy when?

Count me in for atleast two hubs and a couple spare sleeves. You could probably do it as a group buy lol.

Ok so if you guys want to get the hubs, there are currently 4 pairs of hub motors available (total 8 pieces). Can reach out to cgbcustom on instagram and he’ll hook you up with the hubs

Regarding rear motor hub mounting on a zero degree tail…

It’s only possible if the axle is fixed to the tail and cannot rotate. A while back I tried building a similar setup with a lepsk8 zero degree tail and it didn’t work since the rear axle is able to rotate.

Custom lid time. This is slightly thicker, about 3mm thick, with a cutout where the battery pack is so things dont get too much pressure.

Also did a curve upwards where the nose of the deck is

Update on the Maverick.

Ive decided to do a 12s1p, the extra 2 cells will give a bit more juice.

A friend works at a place that prints nice quality stickers. Theres always waste areas that get cut away so he was able to print and cut some nice stickers for my battery. Not sure if ill pursue battery making but more likely just for local orders.

That little BMS is something.

It’s the JBD 14s. If that BMS didn’t exist i probably would’ve just stuck to the 10s1p with the Daly BMS.
