That’s like asking why you would buy different wheels for your car

They look cool. Perfectly acceptable reason

perfectly acceptable but you wouldnt put f1 tires on a battered on 500$ car
same here 500$ seems like a lot for looking cool so i thought maybe there was something else to

:joy: ummm :face_with_monocle: that’s sorta the thing to do for younger auto enthusiast.

The lycaon are probably cast vs land surf being machined in the states is my guess. Premium wheels when their are other upgrades that could be had

I’m sure whatever board Jack wants to put them on is way more than $500

None of my boards are even close to $500

I would also agree with this

I doubt Landsurf would sell them for that much without a justification, aka, CNC

Too rich for my blood. Unless I sell a board to finance them

I can hardly justify buying the mega star offsets for my boards

Edit: I forgot I just dropped close to $400 on hubs from janux

if you forget it… it’s like you got em for free!

Aren’t those targeted at high end (expensive) board owners

They most likely are land surf wheels straight from the factory, they are made in China after all

He does still sell stuff? Iirc he had posted he was leaving the esk8 business due to a new job like a year ago. I guess that never happened then?
