I’d not even considered 5" , now really want to try some lol
I am also very intrigued but the 5” now as well.
I email the new vendor for Bergs tire/tubes but I found some in the states so I didn’t go through him yet
I wanted five tires and four tubes and this is what he sent me
Email
jackson@cycco.com.tw
I don’t know if he has rims and pulleys
I may have to send him an email. Is he on here do you know?
There’s a thread I got to find it
Doesn’t look like Jackson is on here but you can email him he responds pretty quick and you can always try to email @haggyboard.timo
Nice one pal thanks for the help, I really need those 5” pneumatics in my life.
Jesus this build is getting a bit out of hand now.
Just learn from us it’s better to spend a little extra and get the right stuff
Instead of buying stuff twice
If you want pricey check out these but they are dope
Just my personal experience, the bergmeister tires are garbage. I got 5 flats in 6 rides even after doing the process of filing the rims and using the o-ring. Switched to the 6x2 tires but kept the bergmeister tubes and didn’t get another flat before I sold it a year later.
Is the general consensus that TB AT’s are bad too? I’ve heard mixed reviews. But that might also be an option in the 6ish” range…
I’ve been eyeing these they look interesting if you want 6 inch tires
These pneumatics from meepo are probably the cheapest around?
I have gone insane with the amount of flats i had… Just to make clear since English is not my native language.
You kept the haggy inner tubes? But changed the outer tyres? I have hard time making clear what does tube and tyre stands for…
Thanks
Yes, exactly correct.
What about metro 155 style tires?
I agree I’d rather spend a little more for a quality product for sure.
The reason for the bergs is so I can use them with the M1 gear drives as it has an adapter for berg hubs, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of kegel or abec core hubs for pneumatics.
Im finding out though with diy there always seems to be a solution.
Surfnacho was making some, with Kegel core, called infinity hubs. Abusfullofnuns has them on m1 gear drives on a build he is working on. New so pretty much untested- have an interesting bearingseat/Kegel adapter thing. Lead time could be an issue tho.
Interesting will check them out, Thanks
