Looking for the best Prebuilt - recommendations welcome

Hello all,

I’ve got a Mach 1 on Order and looking for another board that will still reach decent speeds (above 38mph) dual motors and under 2000 usd.

Good range is preferable no less than 12s4p prefer 5-6p
Motors that are 63-64-80-90 should work fine
Looking for at street board rather than AT conversion boards or full AT.

Vesc is an advantage x

MBoards interstellar 14S4P or bump the budget up some to get an endurance 2.0.

Defiant also fits the bill.

Those are going to be the best bang for the buck imo while using DIY level parts.

If you don’t care about vesc, radium motors etc then I’d look at acedeck’s offerings.

i found 12s4p to be a bit lacking for range. but ya how you drive matters. im using 12s8p right now but it feels really heavy and influences the board behavior. you said prebuilt so my comment doesnt apply sorry :man_facepalming:

In order of my personal preference, I would recommend:

  1. SKP Magnetic (@Skyart)
  2. Bioboards (@mackann)
  3. Flux
  4. Hoyt

Although Hoyt recently announced they will no longer be making complete boards, they still have some for sale. Not sure how good of an idea it is to buy from them right now though tbh.

All solid options but none under 2k for the guy iirc.

ahh I missed that part.

IMO, if you want decent performance and top speed above 38mph, you need a budget above $2k to get something satisfactory.

You only get to choose 2 of 3 with skateboards: powerful, fast, inexpensive

Well I’ve got a cheapo meepo envy but that’s very much a toy. I’ve got a 10s4p short board that works well.

Prehaps I could increase budget to 2.5 though I had stumbled on the defiant 1 however they don’t seem to ship out of the Us or something I’m not quite sure why I can’t buy it since that was within my 2k budget and 12s5p.

Thought there might be a few other contenders in this price range.

So how does one get the elusive defiant? CauSe that fits the bill in terms of price and preformance however doesn’t seem for sale.

Shame cause it meets every need if only I could contact the company to arnage for shipping cause I think that’s the cause of the issue

@longhairedboy is the man to ask.

Wait whaaaa? No more prebuilts from Hoyt? I’ve been out of the loop for about two months but how did I miss that? Are there details somewhere?

Edit: nvm, found it on Instagram. Changes due to the fire. Ugh, what a bummer.

Hoyt is gone apparently.
At least from the list of prebuilt makers.

Dang the selection of prebuilt boards is in short supply :frowning: in terms of higher end boards that meet the OP requirements

What about the Onsra Black Carve though. 2000 it does come with a 2 year warranty which does help.

For 12s3 p it’s a little steep shame it’s not 4p.

The velar looks cool but won’t meet my needs

Upside is onsra is EU based im just feeling that the Black Carve is priced at 2000 when 1500 would have been around correct. The warrenty might justify some of that but it’s kinda like paying for expensive insurance you might never use built into the price

LINNPOWER get the belt drive, its quality and cheap.
