Not sure what category to use. I recently moved to Naples and will be here for a few years. Would really like to find any riders to group up with.
Non so quale categoria utilizzare. Mi sono trasferito di recente a Napoli e resterò qui per qualche anno. Mi piacerebbe davvero trovare qualche motociclista con cui fare gruppo.
There are not many people into the sport here, it is 100% illegal on the roads and he cops will take your board. But if you have a mountain board there are amazing mtb trails all over, or thousands of go-kart tracks. I am about 4 hours away from Naples and have 1 friend that rides and is pretty good. There are a few more guys way up north but i dont know them just saw on instagram. @jack.luis You bringing a board? Im 2 hours from Rome.
100% illegal. Way over powered, no handle bars and no manual brake is the issue. Also too many wheels. But cops here can be either super chill or way over the top.
Ya it is such a hassle lugging it around, especially overseas. There is a race in Paris on the 20th. I might take a train there if i can get my shit together. When do you get here?
Also be fair these things are risky to ride and to be ridden nearby its almost comical how bad it can get if you think about it. Not to mention lack of mechanical/electrical redundancy on top of human error… i dont think they will be street legal anytime soon. But cars are better at ending humans and we go to/pay for wars to drive those so i dunno.
Off road and track just like dirt bikes and go-karts is fine with me.
Here in Italy, at least where i am, car traffic and police movement is predictable. Everyone goes to work and cones home/ eats around the same time. So if i want to hit some curvy mountain roads or a seaside sprint i have a couple time slots any day.
