hi Alan,
how big is bigger?

you can definitely check out Alibaba for Ajax 6x2…they fit perfectly onto the Bergmeister rim.

I’m thinking about a similar design but just half an inch more diameter

There is no limit there I guess, no size is big enough

Any idea how much more energy (Wh/km) the bigger 6x2 tires use?

Its profile and weight that will determine eh WH usage. A flat profile will use significantly more energy to roll as the contact with the road surface is much higher, therefor more friction. An off road tire will be thicker and weigh more because of it, requiring more energy to roll. I’m guessing, but I bet it will be 60 - 80% the current value.

hi Timo @haggyboard.timo , just received my order of
bergs, While I now have enough spares to last a life time. I am interested in bigger tires.
Any chance you could like to them? I’m having a hard time finding them using this keyword

Jokes aside,

this one might work? Link , I am unsure how the lip would need to be and how large the inner diameter of this tire is

This is for mbs/ tramps hubs, too big for bergs

If these are the same Ajax, they were reported to be wobbly

Thanks! I’ll look into it. Just a thought rn

@Bataleon: the big 6x2 tires use up a lot more energy. as @mmaner pointed out, the flat profile has more road surface and thus higher friction. I had between 25-30wh/km on those, basis 10s4p/78kg/dual190kv.

hi @Agressivstreetlamp: you can look for tires with an inner diameter of around 72-74mm.

That is true. The Dave/Clever tires have a substantially wider contact patch, creating more friction between the substrate and surface which translates to higher WH usage.
