Loaded Vanguard 38” 12S2P carbon

Now it’s time to do the channel from the battery to the vesc
I’m end up using 10AWG wire they are 5.5mm so it about half the deck thickness so I think it will be fine
I’m using dremel to do it and it’s not the best option but this is what I have on hand :grimacing:

Also finely my battery is arrived and I was very pleased to see it fit very good (thank you God)

And my vacuum is very happy to hahah

Using a dremel as a router certainly works.

I’d highly recommend protecting the adjacent areas with several layers of masking tape, and if using the ‘router base’ for the dremel, clamping straight edges on either side of the intended groove.

I like the carbide burrs, and shallow passes.

I’m using the 2 A4 green plat as Gide

Channel to the cables is ready
I use silicone to cover them up
And I hope after putting the grip tape it Wouldn’t be visible :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

All that’s left is soldering the XT90S connector drilling hole the the charging port
And Final assembly :grimacing:

Hey are you using fusion 360? I would love advice on how to begin I have been trying I just can’t seem to form a solid piece in the end. I have been needing to make a battery case for a 12v 300ah for awhile now I failed a few attempts but if I could just get rolling or if you know of videos I could watch. Also is there a certain type of resin for skinning carbon fiber I just have been trying the tabletop stuff

I’m using solidworks
But I’m sure there are a lot of tutorials in YouTube …

Table top resin works great and it’s uv stable so it won’t yellow over time. Cheap structurable epoxy will yellow in a year and look bad but is most noticable on lighter colors like white.

Ok awesome that’s what I was hoping for

So the esc case vas design to Thinner cables And also to be very compact
And when I switch to the new motors, I needed to add 6 mm height so I printed this

Now I think the ball is looking like a beast
