Line-x my deck, yea

Thats what i had thought but it hardened better than jb weld lol. My truck has line x/Rino lining so it did feel the same texture wise. But you could be rt. Also unless i use a hose my truck bed doesn’t get cleaned and dont even try drying it with a towel looks all hairy after

@DerelictRobot had a cool rubber spray on his Lacroix deck.

Hmm. It seems that you and I have very different experiences with line-x. I wonder why. Suddenly I’m less sure of my previous statements due to possible deviations

Im not saying not to use it just saying its not fun to clean

Maybe there is texture variations. Id rather clean grip tape lol

Yep, cut the shape with a craft knife and masking tape, and then spray light coats.

My truck bed is line-x it has never looked clean. Oil stains, dirt discolored. Ive tried a few diff methods of cleaning it just always drys looking faded.

But still grippy and protective. And i am pretty tough on it.

So id say +1 for durability and grip
-2 for cleanliness

I used Bondo HD Rubberized Undercoating, meant for the underside of a vehicle.

It’s held up really well. Also coated my OSRR prototype in it.

Maybe line x with a coat of rustoleum never wet (or any other hydrophobic treatment).

I even thought maybe brushing on some plastidip would look really colorful but with some line x showing through. If that becomes a thing, you heard it here first.
