Yeah its a bit hit and miss I bought some varicore lg mj1 cells dirt cheap from ali I was hoping for atleast 2500mah as the real mj1 are 3500mah but these babies top out at 1700 mah I have 200 of them as budget powerwall for my shed. For the price I cant complain $1

Yeah they obviously exagerate the specs.
I’m running these “40a” cells at 12a per cell and they are doing great for a large 5p pack.
For the price, definitely they are definitely a good deal. You just can’t expect to run them at 40a.

I bought these cells for a fast 12s2p city cruiser build, thinking about running them through Unity, motors are flip sky dual 6355. Will it be ok or should I go for the Samsung 40T ?
I think a 2p anything cell your gonna want a high amp cell if you want that boost n what not… With a high P count it doesnt matter as much so yeah 40t or any other high amp 18650 for a smaller battery
ok what’s the difference in discharge max between liitokala and the 40T s ?
I don’t remember but the liito were rated at 15 and I feel like I got that… But trying to push them in a 2p I wasnt interested in. Id want something more reliable… 40t has to be mid 20s iirc or more if lucky

Ok, so if I want that fast acceleration and not high top speed or long range, the 40t s are a better option ?
Well top speed can be had by gearing…range yeah needs capacity but 40t has the same just higher amps…35a I just looked… 2p will be great.
More available amps will also help reduce sag so yeah when you gun it it shouldnt peter out as soon due to a higher head room
Ok, think I’m gonna built the pack anyway and test, an just replace with 40Ts if its to saggy and slow
Just buy some more and save em for a 12s4p something in the future… 2p is gonna suck. No reason doing the work twice and then u wont have any good use for the pack after

seems like a better idea. although my other build is a 12s4p with dual 6374s, hehe. But I guess I need an AT board down the line too 
building a flat 12s2p with 40t´s then, can I still use 0,2x10mm nickel strips on parallel and double 12 awg wire between series, or will it be too weak ?
U could…i bet u could get away with just one piece of 12ga… Or if you really wanted a single piece of 10ga is more than sufficient… Half the work half the wire length =\

Ok, i bought 24 original samsung cells 40T, if i understand correctly they are also 3,7 volts, so there will be the same amount of current flowing through the pack as with the 18650s ? it just contain more juice so it lasts longer ?

depends what. 18650 cell youre comparing to…but in general more amps and capacity than a 30q yeah, shouldnt have much sag till the battery gets lower, its ineveitable
Ok, but is there another cell out there that has larger capacity than the 18650 30q that has better properties for a 2p build ? I am building a city cruiser for small but fast trips in my hometown, so low weight and good manouvering capabilities are preferred
more capacity i dont think so…maybe a vtc IIRC may have more amp output but cant remember if its the same capacity or not… on a smaller pack overall area used might be comparable in a 2p 21700 vs a 3p 18650… could be a toss up
