Finally, mystery solved

I think you should just read a bit more

Also channel trucks depend entirely on the deck for their angle, unlike TKP, RKP and DKP which depend on the baseplate for their angle. That’s why mountain boards all look like extreme double kicktails.

You can kinda get channel style trucks with baseplates, Hamboards HST200 trucks have the same fixed pin as a channel truck but just a weird ass spring system

Also i was just thinking that with some linkage adjustments and some sort of swivel on the threads for the main post in NKPs you could probably use them on channel truck decks.

I so wanna do it!
Think if the trucks can get close to zero degrees, no reason it wouldn’t work xD
Right @MoeStooge ?

I think you can run them, but you will need a bit more of an angle on the swivel arms. The rod end bearing does not care which way it moves :stuck_out_tongue:

Very good point, and you are correct, I have not spent the amount of time the typical forum member spends on acquiring knowledge on ESK8, if I did invest the time to thoroughly study and read it all then I would be a serious DIY and awesome builders like @longhairedboy and others would not get my business. Therefore I practice the famous " Stay in my Lane" mindset and trust the pros to fix and build my boards. Not to mention 3 years ago at 40 I bought my first esk8 which was the Inboar M1 then year 2 I got the Raptor 2.1 then year 3 got a sick AWD LHB Evo beast. Feeling blessed

Did anymore parts ever arrive for the float kit? I saw your post on fb from late November and was curious. This thread is cool :sunglasses:

Yes. And i assembled it. With no instructions, no help from the videos, and with a few stellas in me.

On video.

Part one will be the assembly for everything but the battery, i’m going to get hammered and narrate myself doing it.

Part two will be trying to build a pack for it because 12 21700s don’t leave any room for a BMS on the battery side so balance leads have to go down the side rail which means taking it apart again.

Should be very entertaining.

I’m looking forward to this!

Yeah there were some duh moments where i did something before doing something else and had to start over, but over all the float kit is way easier than my xcarve was.

Any teaser pics? :grimacing: So you have everything for it except battery?

yeah still i have to build the pack.

I don’t have any stills yet, the video is still on my go-pro which i use to video straight down on my bench.
