honeycomb cell holders showed up for my bike so i thought i’d take a pass at snapping them together and chopping out the shape. i have to get back to other stuff but here’s 1 of 4 honeycomb cell holder sheets im making for a 20s21p 21700 pack for the Micargi Seattle SS stretch chopper beach cruiser im motorizing.

YES! Its just the rack covered in visqueen with a couple of cheap box fans blowing through a vent in the wall. Works great with fast drying spray paint like any of the rustolem 2X or krylon fusion stuff, and of course MTN 94.
since i’ve started using this diy paint booth overspray has been eliminated, and its also a lightbox so errors due to shadows or other bad lighting have also been eliminated. The decks just hang from a hook through thier truck holes.

krylon fusion all-in-one on this one. I keep tabs of what’s good off the shelf locally. Fusion keeps making a comeback. You can get amazing results with shaker cans.

I got mine from ebay. they’re referred to as “honeycomb” when searching.

its a super snug fit on the cells and as you can see you can make a mesh out of them then cut the mesh to shape.
