doubt they look through every email address they get to confirm its not duplicate and etc…
however they do ask for a confirmation from your email

It does somewhat undermine the petition if forged entries are used…
Only sign if you are in the UK please, if you are not from the UK please help by finding someone that is from the UK and poking them till they sign.

not legal however police tend to be quite chilled about it
