I know local distributor, but I’m looking for some cheap ass second hand 
Evo 40 would be ideal. This R5 also looks great. But no-one wants to sell me any locally 
I’m going to assemble the base on drophammer this weekend, will see how it rolls, but I already feel crave for something longer…
Good luck finding what you’re after. A second hand Evo should be doable, but the R5 is pretty old now. I want to say it was a 2015/2016 model. No matter what you get i look forward to seeing the creation.

Thanks! 15-16’ decks are reachable, but I’m a hasty guy, so I end up buying Original Freeride 41 deck second hand. It looks great and can’t wait for the delivery.
Now I can’t sleep cause I’m overthinking if I catch a wheelbite or not using 7" pneumatics…

That obsidian is fuckin cool. Reminds me a bit of the old style wolfshark that i love so much. Might have to build one of those some day.
Must always use a shock pad. Otherwise, that will happen. With that thin a deck, might use 1/4 inch, not 1/8th.
Good pt. I forgot to mention - I was running the thin Muirskate shock pads all around, plus an 11mm PETG printed tunnel riser in the rear, 6mm PETG printed riser in the front.
I doubt this was a large factor, but maybe thicker pads would’ve helped

Isn’t that the Switch? Granted the drop’s more extreme so that the platform height is the same.

Lol, drop is too deep for my liking. Not a fan at all
That drop comes in super handy for back foot brace on full throttle acceleration!! But yes it is a big drop.
