So i have built a 12S DIY using the Lacroix deck with AT wheels. However i saw a picture of a Lacroix using street wheels.
I know the trucks are trampa, but i have trouble finding the mounts, does anyone know where i can buy the same mounts?
Not the same build but I think @Sender built a Lacroix with street wheels a while back and I am not sure but if I remember correctly he used have used some surfrodz trucks.
Yep, i saw his build, its awesome. However i was thinking of the trampa style since it has the different bushings.
There used to be some trampa trucks that you could either mount facing forward or backward to go from street to dirt. But I don’t know if they still make those.
Or was it just the hanger that could be flipped I don’t remember exactly.
I would think maybe @IDEA has something for that?
Caveat being, adjustable base plates/low angle and RKPs would give you a better result on thane… .
How did you find the stability on your thane build mate? Good at high speed?
I can help with this. Everyone that has ridden Tim’s board has dropped 2k on thier own.
Thanks, i already have Lacroix so would just need the trucks.
But i dont think my 6384 motors would fit on the small trucks, so thats why Trampa would be better.
I ride my trampa with thanes when I’m feeling frisky. Turns my super carvy snowboard feel into a fucking Ferrari. If you use the mini spring you can fit two 6374 if they are true to that size. If not the atb hangar adds an extra four inches. As for the mount i would check out @IDEA. Cool thing about the trampa system is being able to swap out dampas in the springs and the spring position it’s self to alter the stiffness/carviness of the ride. I can go from carvy at setup to stiff racer in about ten mins. Wheel swap belt swap spring adjustment. It’s an awesome build.
You can do that will all Trampa hangers.
Ask @ATC, he has great mounts
