This puppy is running 100D since today. Time to test the Stormcore tomorrow. At this time, the Stormcore is temporarily mounted in the housing without an additional heat sink. Very curious how fast it heats up.

Yeah! Running 18s5p with Samsung 40T.

Unfortunately currently no motor temperature with fw5.1

Yeah fully correct! But I am already thinking off swapping those motors out.
They get very fast very hotā€¦

Get something thatā€™s open can with a built in fan. I havenā€™t had overheating with my SK3ā€™s for example.

Yeah I knowā€¦ running a sk3 on another board for almost 2 years. Only a little bit warm but not hot.

And at the end, I hoped sealed was more sealed then thisā€¦ you can look straight from the motor wires into the windings. And also a to big gap between the mounting plate and can. Maybe I take a look at some APS motors.

Downloaded the app and sign up to test the ESC hopefully I can get one I am a daily rider and would love to test it and give daily input. Extremely exciting stuff. Would even like to see a custom LED port which can have its own section on the app to change color and proprietary LEDs sold to fit. I know I would by it. :upside_down_face:

Hi @sofu there was talk of lifting the app restrictions for slightly older iPhones, not expecting crazy old but iphone 6? Iā€™m on the latest s/w 12.4.6. It does everything I need frankly so wasnā€™t intended to get a pocket coffin.

iPhone 7 quad-core/2Gb RAM
Vs
iPhone 6 dual-core/1 Gb specs that worry you? My assumption was that iphone 7 is supported already and Iā€™ve just missed the cutoff model-wise.

Maybe thereā€™s other factors or compatibility concerns, happy to test if you like

Itā€™s never really about Phone specs than it is OS versions. Iā€™ve seen more inclusion than exclusion depending on features than specs (like Shapr3D only working with iPad Pros that can use the Apple Pencil.

The issue is API usage that is only available iOS 13 onwards. Backwards compatibility for an OS that is only like 5% usage in the whole ecosystem at this point isnā€™t a very high priority thing right now, sorry
