Got a problem with my stormcore esc, ain’t got a clue how it happened even the chaps at lacroix are baffled.
Got enough of a connection when I put the hall sensor cable in but after a few bumps I get cogging on take off.
Lacroix have kindly offered an exchange unit for 20% but I really don’t want to be without my board, summers here finally and i don’t want to waste and dry time (I’m in England haha)
My question is can I run hfi straight from the app without altering any settings.
I’m still waiting on the PCBs to start assembling them. I believe you guys are front of the line before anything else the second I get them. @Flashgod224 might have more details but that’s the gist of it
Anyone else have constant issues with the iOS app not loading long rides over 10 miles? I started dual recording rides using my Bike GPS app because 90% of the time the Stormcore app just crashed when I try to load any 10 mile+ ride that was completed previously. So far 75% of my rides are over 20 miles and I can’t view the data.
At this point the app is useless, if I were to have an issue with the board on any ride, I would be unable to review the data to troubleshoot the issue. So it’s nice to use another app for speed/map data, but from a esc/motor temp data loggin standpoint it’s a major issue.
You could pull the RGB plug and set the vesc to auto shutdown after a minute. He would have to roll start it to get it to come on in that event. Should be able to put him into a panic before he figures that out. Try melting some old wire insulation bear it so it has that worrisome aroma too do the thing right.
Are those bent pins in there?
Try to bring all pins on the same level, then plug in the jst until it kinda clicks in place. If that won’t do anything make sure the wires aren’t interrupted. Relatively easy to spot as the wire will bend easier through there
