And if most people are - why do we still use SAE at all?

Can you just imagine what it would cost to retool every factory in the US? Oh, and there’s changing all of the American welding and plumbing and carpentry standards. I’m not saying that SAE is better, but it ain’t going away.

I do find it annoying how 25mm things can be sold as 1 inch or 50mm 2 inch.

I wonder how many more years until metric is the official measurement system in the us.

We couldn’t hold on to it for another 100 years could we?
