Kenda tyre 200x50 is slightly bigger than MBS roadie 200x50 !?

Wanted to get myself some spare tyres for the Flux.

Because the Kendas are sold out everywhere , i decided to trie MBS Roadies (Innova) which are supposably the same size…
These are also quickly running out everywhere now. I could only get 2 from Evolve Germany…
They have the exact same tire-thread/pattern cut in them …

BUT !! They’re not the same size as the Kendas! Bummer! It’s not a big difference , but the diameter is about 1cm smaller on the BMS tyre, and the BMS tyre is also a bit “skinnier”.

I cant really believe i’m the only one to have noticed this ?

Don’t want different wheel sizes on my Board , will also make for a difference in Speed and when just changing one of the rears i bet this will cause problems on the motors too…

Just a heads up :+1:t2:

“200x50mm” tyres are generally more in the 195 range in reality,
“8x2 inch” wheels are technically 203,2mm* tall. Both can be marked wrong between each other and no one seems to really care. Blame american measuring system for this and buy same brand wheels in the meantime
