you were depressed yesterday, today you are constipated, i.e. brown
we should meet up one day, we can burn some methcrack
Thatās literally the entire problem with modern Christianity, basically, no one even knows what they believe and none of them practice it. Iām not saying what they believe is right either, Iām just saying that most of them use their religion to excuse hating other people even though their religion explicitly says to do the opposite of that. Jesusā teachings can be summarized as āLife is hard; love others, forgive others, and remember that you are not perfect. Donāt condemn yourself as he literally died so you would not face condemnation.ā But for some reason (American especially) Christians are all Assholes that hate others Monday through Saturday and go to church on Sunday
Also, to clarify, that verse it basically just explains how those who are saved, by grace through faith in Christ, have become part of a single family.
real facts
to which homicidal white invaders are you referring now?
but more importantly, this really sucks about Ernesto. I love that man. We didnāt always agree but heās a good dude and I hope he comes out on top of this somehow. Been inside plenty of his boards. Nothing bad there that I ever saw first hand, only ever heard good things from owners for the most part. I wanted one. I had fun on the last one I rode.
f in the chat for Ernesto and the people who got injured when the bms cut out or burned down
well there you go, good to hear, a loss of a builder is unfortunate.
SHILL, SHILL I SAY FOR YOUR FAVORITE BUILDER. @skyart i got you buddy, but you have to share with Zmote now 2.
After opening multiple boards I cant say the same.
I dont wanna beat a dead horse here, but boards he sold in 2022 were built like boards from 2018. Thin nickel with sharp edges, welds popping off, threadlocker missing on critical components, cold solder joints, it was piss for what he charges. He also is unable to learn from the mistakes of others as he used escs KNOWN for idle draining packs, and had a buck converter directly plugged into the battery, which is known to drain your battery too.
It felt like opening a time capsule, and not in a good way. Sure, years ago, it would be considered fine, but everyone has moved on, and heās competing with the likes of Hoyt and Lacroix who have improved their build process.
I cant speak on his character, my only interactions with him are the following; (be the judge of this)
- him not being at his shop even though I arranged to drop by the day prior
- him speaking negatively about other vendors heās tried to work with previously (as I had those parts on my board)
- I watch him play favorites with out local community, ignore people he doesnt like and goes far out of his way for people heās friends with.
dropped the fax right here
Thereās more iād like to contribute, but I have an essay due in 2 hours holding a knife to my throat.
holy shit you saw all that in a newer board?
Last one I rebuilt a battery for looked solid construction wise, it was just worn out. That sucks.
Iāve seen many. As far as I can tell, he hasnt changed his methodology one bit since I started building.
fuck clicky bastads, if i had to be popular to get a board id still be pushing my Rob Roskopp
Im curious if this is post him breaking his arm thus creating the alligations of him using randos/his own kids to do work. That doesnt explain the older desgin flaws you stated. Im just wondering chicken before the egg?
I can confirm that there have been many random unqualified people working there
@hoytkid was essentially exploited. He was in high school, and he wasnt ever paid, just given a bunch of random parts. They totaled up to a decent amount of money, but nowhere near what minimum wage is. Heās made the most of the experience from Kaly. He now builds quality shit and can solder better than I can.
DJ Strip is a friend of Ernestoās, and seemingly got guilt tripped into working there for a while until he finally stopped for whatever reason
Angel, who worked there for like two weeks during this ^ period too. He was paid with a kaly deck or something, which is now the platform for my mountainboard. dunno the specifics here.
There was also a young lady working on stuff there, dont know her relationship to Ernesto, but she was there when I was visiting.
Speculation claims that he had other younger members of his family working for him from time to time, but nothing that I can confirm.
thats enough of this for today, schools comes first (I tell myself while staring at my board)
This is all just gossip. Iāve had my daughter check cell voltages and put on fishpaper rings, does that make me a bad man?
well that explains why weāve seen very different work come out of there then. Guess I only saw the good stuff.
This whole thing is so wild.
Not exactly I can definitely say ive met 12 year olds who can use iron better than i can. Its more if there is smoke there is fire⦠if you see younger kids being used for work something else is wrong. Its also one thing if you are teaching someone vs selling a product a kid built.
weāre not allowed to do that? My 8 year old builds all the Defiant boards while I play my first edition of legend of Zelda on Nintendo.
