Keisuke always races uphill because his 13B FD3S has bootloads of power and Takumi races downhill because power matters not in his little 4AG AE86

Why, Uphill? Uphill racing at DH events. Closed road with corner workers. Super Safe!
Does not disrupt or add time. DH community has been really receptive to up-hill racing. It’s a natural fit

Also, it’s pretty dang hard to slide a pnuemie board if you have an electronics failure 
so uphill = auto brakes if you have a failure

Yeah that is pretty convenient. My only bad fall at 28mph was going uphill, I think I would have been hurt worse if I was going downhill
